PBS Spotlight Education Week September 12-17 and the ETV Read to Succeed Course

All this week, PBS and SCETV will feature programs and documentaries as well as special episodes of Nova, Frontline  and PBS Newshour, a new film from POV, and the premiere of TED Talks: Education Revolution. And on  Saturday, September 17th, special PBS programs take an in-depth look at the state of education cross the nation, the challenges facing today’s students and new models of learning.

On Saturday's telecast from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m., locally-produced ETV American Graduate segments that examine successful, innovative educational initiatives across South Carolina will be featured. On the podcast this week, Betsy Newman of SCETV describes the several segments featured from our state schools during this special American Graduate segment. Also included in this week's program is recertification news regarding ETV's offering of a Read to Succeed: Foundations in Reading course.
